100-Question Bubble Answer Sheet (A–D, 2 Columns, Letter)
The familiar full-length grid: a hundred questions in two columns of 50 rows, A to D, with a header for name, date and class. Everything is on one side of one US Letter page. Bubbles are 3.4 mm wide and rows 4.5 mm apart. Download the PDF free, no registration.

One hundred questions on a single sheet is the classic full-length answer grid: questions 1–50 down the left column, 51–100 down the right, four bubbles per row, with Name, Date, Class/Period and Test/Form lines across the top.
Everything fits on one side of one page, which is what most teachers want — no staples, no second page to lose, and a grader that reads the whole test in one pass. The trade-off is that the rows are tighter than on a fifty-question sheet, so print at exactly 100% and use a sharpened pencil.
Who this sheet is for
- Full-length class tests and final exams
- One-sheet-per-student assessment with no stapling
- Test-prep centers running full practice sections
- Homeschool end-of-semester assessments
When to choose this sheet, and when not to
Use this sheet for a full-length test or exam in which students answer a hundred items in one sitting. Everything stays on one side of one page, so there is no second page to be separated from the first.
The cost of fitting a hundred rows on a page is bubble size: at 3.4 mm they are smaller than on the 50-question sheets, so they suit students who can fill a bubble neatly. For younger or less practiced students, the four-column 100-question sheet gives noticeably larger bubbles on the same paper.
Print a trial copy at 100% before a class set and look at the last row of each column, because a hundred rows leave little slack. If a printer clips the bottom edge, the cause is usually scaling or the printer's own margins rather than the file.
An example
A department gives a hundred-item practice exam over two periods. Students use the same single sheet for both sessions, bubbling the first half in period one and the second in period two.
How to print this at 100% scale
- Open the PDF and choose File → Print.
- Set the scale to Actual size or 100%. Turn off “Fit to page”, “Shrink to fit” and any borderless option.
- Set the paper size to US Letter (8.5" × 11").
- Print one copy and check the four corner squares: each should sit about 5 mm (3/16 inch) in from the paper edge.
Why the fuss? A page scaled by even two percent moves every bubble slightly, and a camera grader measures where a bubble should be. Print at true size and the grid is where the grader expects it; print scaled and it may not be.
Printing note. At a hundred questions the rows are dense, so print one copy first and check that the last row on each column is fully on the page before running a class set.
How to use it
- Print one copy per student at 100% scale, single-sided.
- Have students fill in the header block first — name, date and class, and the Student ID grid if this sheet has one.
- For each question, fill one bubble completely. A half-filled bubble is a common cause of a mark being missed, and an X or a check mark can be another.
- Erase cleanly and completely. Smudged erasures can read as filled bubbles to a camera.
- Grade against an answer key — see the guide on making a test key overlay.

Frequently asked questions
Do all 100 questions fit on one page?
Yes — two columns of fifty rows on one side of one sheet. Nothing continues onto the back, so there is no risk of a grader reading only one side of the paper.
How do I print it at the right size?
Choose Actual size or 100% and switch off "Fit to page", "Shrink to fit" and any borderless setting. Verify with a ruler: the four corner squares should sit about 5 mm (3/16 inch) from each edge of the paper.
Are the bubbles big enough for younger students?
The exact width is in the specs table on this page. They are smaller than on the 50-question sheets, so they suit older students better; for younger classes, use the 20-, 25- or 50-question sheets, or the four-column version of this sheet, where the bubbles are much larger.
Can I get 100 questions in a different layout?
Yes. The generator does 100 questions in one, two, three or four columns, on Letter or A4, with or without the header block. Four columns gives much larger bubbles if you do not mind a wider grid.
How do I stop students losing their place in fifty rows?
A folded card or a ruler under the current row helps, and so does saying out loud that the numbers continue at the top of the right-hand column after question 50.
Can I split 100 questions across two sessions on one sheet?
Yes, but tell students to leave the second half blank until the second sitting, and collect the sheet between sittings so it cannot be changed.
